Jazz International Summer Workshop in July 2024

The 54th Siena Jazz International Summer Workshop will take place in Siena, Italy, from July 24th to August 6th, 2024. Recognized as one of Europe’s leading programs for jazz education, the workshop will bring together an international lineup of renowned jazz educators and talented students from around the world. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in intensive masterclasses, ensemble sessions, and concerts in the vibrant cultural setting of Siena.

Yumi Ito will be part of the distinguished teaching faculty, joining esteemed vocalists Theo Bleckmann, Jen Shyu, and Leïla Martial, among others. The faculty also includes internationally acclaimed musicians such as trumpeters Avishai Cohen and Jason Palmer, saxophonists Miguel Zenón and Melissa Aldana, guitarists Lage Lund and Miles Okazaki, pianists Aaron Parks and Ethan Iverson, double bassists Thomas Morgan and Joe Sanders, and drummers Dan Weiss and Jeremy Dutton.
